May this joyous moment in your life & your son's be a blessed one. And be proud to see him wear that uniform and serve our country.
I know for me as a mother of one serving in the military. I'm more proud every moment of every day of my adult child and even more proud when I'm amongst them aboard the aircraft carrier and I hear great things about my adult child from others serving our country. It's a proud moment for sure!
While they're away on deployment, communication tends to be lacking while we parents tend to worry as they're overseas in combat zones. It's not easy, but deep down it's a blessing to see your child grow and do something wonderful with their life.
So Liz, from one military mom to another, if you need any advice on whom you can stay in touch with (military wise) for parents peace of mind. PM me and I'll give you some input.
God Bless your son. And more so, God bless you.
