Admittedly, that was mainly because it was getting lame. But I want to say something and be clear about a few things. I'm not a Whispers "follower". I'm not a Wicked Milf “defender”. And I think if you put the two of them in a cage fight it'd be even money.
I started that thing as a joke. As a "what if". Then I threw out a couple of hypothetical questions I thought would spark some back and forth. Just for fun. Then a lot of people started jumping on WM. Nobody jumped on Whispers. It just turned into an attack on Wicked Milf. I never intended that. |
I was sorry to see it closed... For anyone that actually READS the threads, pauses to think about some of the things posed, you can put together some history of people.... If you listen carefully to the little cartoon you will hear something informative that might aid you when researching someone and in a making a decision regarding seeing them.
The thread included quite a bit of information wrapped in some humor and satire for sure...
People jump on WickedMilf because they love to hear her roar... She does not respond with logic or facts.. she attacks in a personal manner with too many emotions.... She has a long history of being out of control when she disagrees with people...
She is a far extreme example of the wrong way to debate a subject.....
I'm a bit more like Spock.... I don't get invested in a thread emotionally.... I enjoy humor, try to spin some of it into what I write and respond with point A, point B, Counterpoint C etc, etc...
People don't get as exciting a reaction when they jump on me...
And in all honesty,,, it helps to argue the right side of an argument....
I tend to come from another extreme totally opposite to her... nothing I read on here phases me.... None of it follows me into my daily life... So I could truly care less...

I owe Whispers and Wicked Milf both an apology. I started something that made them both the butt of a joke. I had no right to draw them into something they never asked for. I think they're both big enough to handle themselves and I certainly loved the "Dude you will get ass fucked" line and the back and forth but, in hindsight, I wouldn't appreciate somebody starting a thread about me.

You owe me nothing.... Take a look around at the Read rate as well as the number of responses (feel free to subtract mine) ... It is truly a sad individual that is unable to laugh at them self... I laughed at the cartoon.... it was creative and humorous....
It was one of the most participated in as well as one of the most read threads in the CoEd section for quite a while.... It generated traffic on the site... you came up with a very creative idea and it brought traffic... Any site needs those kind of threads to thrive...
I always shake my head at the wisdom of a site that locks the threads that generate the most traffic....
That has happened twice this week...... It was a big part of what was wrong over at ASPD....... Something they were on their way to fixing before the site went down..... and something many a poster was commenting on before the site closed... people were upset for a long time at the quick short sighted decisions to lock threads.....
A community such as this has members that check in every few days or once a week... Threads should be allowed to run their course..... for a while..... Threads should not be locked simply because they take a turn in a direction the original thread starter didn't like.....

You didn't draw them into anything. You can't make anybody do anything on this board that they don't want to do, even if some people's responses are unwise.
