The Official VerySkeptical gun control thread
I kiped the below from another thread that was not about gun control yet thought while worthy of discussion, it would also constitute a thread hijack and detract from the basic fact that Nancy Pisslosi is a Demonically possessed PoS. BTW: This thread is not about the latter

Tell us why you are for it, even though you claim otherwise. In other words: What does "universal gun registration" solve for? Not to complicate a complicated matter - Do you distinguish a difference between "universal gun registration" and "universal background checks"? I'm VerySkeptical that you do.

In a nutshell - a lot. But let us focus on why you are so for it, but not really. I want to try to keep you from loosing focus with annoying things like fact and figures. Spoiler Alert: I got's me a-plenty of those.

What is a "hidden offence"? Is that like a pre-crime or something?

I think one Tennessee law maker summed it up. They are passing a lot of party line vote bills right now to harden their schools against violence from outside. He said we want to harden our schools and the democrats want to confiscate guns. Which is more likely? Which is more doable? And which one will save lives in the end?
The democrats don't know why they want to grab guns. They don't know much about guns. And they don't understand reality.

All good points except this one "The democrats don't know why they want to grab guns." I believe it to be lawless and relentless evil, basically just another set of Communists. They always want to disarm the population. Wonder why?

They don't even speak English there (Well... most do as a 2nd language), but their gun laws are for shit. Let's take a peak in on them these days.
Seems as though the unarmed citizens are getting dragged around by the "Forces of Order" over there these days
Recall, that all of that is over raising the retirement age by two years. Didn't they read the fine print on their Socialism contract?

Their leadership knows exactly why. The clodhoppers at the posting level don't... they just do what they're told like good little commies.

And so they do. But not only do they do it in resounding numbers, rumor has it they may vote to expel 3 of the 4 members, dubbing them The Tennessee Three.
Quote:
The ‘Tennessee Three’ Vote Against Bill Adding Armed Security to Schools
Tennessee state Reps. Gloria Johnson (D-Knoxville), Justin Jones (D-Nashville), and Justin Pearson (D-Memphis), dubbed the “Tennessee three” by gun control supporters, voted Thursday against a bill adding armed security to schools in Tennessee.
The school safety bill, HB 322, passed by a vote of 95-4.
The Tennessean noted that the fourth vote against the school safety bill was cast by Rep. Torrey Harris (D-Memphis).
Also according to the outlet, HB 322 would:
…require every school to have a school resource officer, allow private schools to partner with local police for school security efforts, and require Tennessee Department of Homeland Security agents to be placed in each county to evaluate and support school safety plans in both public and private schools.
House Republican Leader William Lamberth commented on the school safety bill:
While it may not be the full solution to the danger and violence we see in the world, it is certainly a step forward. When that horrendous loss of life occurred, it immediately showed we could not just focus on the safety of our public school students but on the safety of all our students...

I'll put the body of the post here in one place.
My post addressed a specific post.
We all know it's coming? Bullshit. When has anyone ever tried to implement universal gun registration? Why are you so against it?
Personally I don't care one way or the other. I have several firearms. What do the gun owners know/understand about gun registration that I don't? What is the big secret your gun owners know that I don't?
If you can't explain what others know, then it can't be too important.
The only people who fear universal gun registration are people who have hidden offences, psychological issues, or are illegally
trafficking in firearms. Who else would care?
Here is the post I was responding to.
"The fact that we have a supposed liberal saying something so retarded ought to tell every right thinking person that the Democrats need to be crushed now... or our children are going to live in a tinpot single party dictatorship run by the few, for the few, at the expense of the many.
Still I know nothing will happen until they attempt universal gun registration. That's when things will have to go kinetic. Gun owners understand what that will mean. We all know it's coming. "

I asked the following question.
When has anyone ever tried to implement universal gun registration?
You answered with a stupid comment that proves you can't give a reply that is relevant or even somewhat "non moronic".
On any day that ends with a "y".
Next you ask why I am for something I told you I didn't care one way or the other? If you didn't believe me the first time, why would you believe me the second time. Pretty fucking stupid of you.Tell us why you are for it, even though you claim otherwise. In other words: What does "universal gun registration" solve for? You're "verystupid" Included in my post was the post I was responding to. I didn't include "universal background checks" because the post I quoted hadn't included that term. Just because the poster I quoted didn't know what he was talking about doesn't mean I'm going to guess what he meant. I don't need to alter what you say to prove you're an average, run of the mill (at best) trumpy Not to complicate a complicated matter - Do you distinguish a difference between "universal gun registration" and "universal background checks"? I'm VerySkeptical that you do.In a nutshell - a lot. But let us focus on why you are so for it, but not really. I want to try to keep you from loosing focus with annoying things like fact and figures. Spoiler Alert: I got's me a-plenty of those. What is a "hidden offence"? Is that like a pre-crime or something?

I'm sure you have lots of facts and figures but they're in your other smock. And just like all trumpys, you claim you have evidence that you will produce later. And later never comes.
Yes. it's a complicated issue. That wasn't the thread topic so I didn't expand on the person's post, I just commented on it. I didn't want to hijack the thread so I limited my response to his comments.
Something you should try.
And because I didn't include extra subjects (I just included the context of the actual post) you got to start a new thread so you could leave the context behind. Everyone knows this is a typical M.O. for a person such as yourself.
To sum up:
You have no understanding of or the ability to apply context to a "blurt" you are trying to bend to your narrative. Without the post I was replying to you can lie all you want.
YOUR guy said "universal gun registration" was in his equation. YOUR guy said that was the beginning of the end.
YOU said you didn't want me to lose focus because of facts and figures. So YOU didn't provide any facts.
I asked your husband what gun owners know about registration that I don't. I asked what the big secret was that would trigger a "kinetic" event.
And I brought up the question that will always trip you up. Explain the issue and provide proof. I asked why he was against it.
like I said, I don't care either way. As far as universal background checks go, I am in complete agreement they be performed in all gun sales.
I don't want you to lose focus but I'm going to include some facts and figures for you 10 percenters.
90 percent of Americans "support universal background checks" for gun purchases.

Highly likely that it is true. But I don't KNOW what their motives are unless they truthfully explain them.
One country was known for it's universal gun registration last century...France had registration for everything down to a single shot shotgun and then the Germans came in 1940. They went around and picked up all the weapons and if you didn't have what you were supposed to have...Germans can be insistent about following their rules.

Seems as though you answered your own question... But the funny thing about the Commie-minions, they always seem to assume they will always be the favored minions.

Seeking is the path to discovery
My post addressed a specific post. Yes it did and that specific post was not entirely relevant to the conversation at hand. I took it as an astute opinion, but off topic, Then you vociferously ran with it with reckless abandon and fury - which is wrong, as evidenced by this thread, because this topic is a hot button one and not relevant to the other OP. That is the mature difference to thread jacking, but the basic fact remains that Nancy Pisslosi is a Demonically possessed PoS and deserves a thread of it's own, just not this particular thread.
Perhaps you need a new schtict, aka M.O. Maybe consider not bloviating with angry name calling, rationalizations and erratic deflection. Is discussing topics with almost rational people a missing skill set for you or something? You come across as someone in their Second Petulant Child phase with atrocious formatting and composition skills in your writing.
Honestly, I have other questions, but I tried to limit it to the basic 3 to understand where you were coming from, without pointing out your many personal deficiencies, i.e. character flaws, and name calling etc. In the Stephen F Covey series: Seek first to understand
- What does "universal gun registration" solve for?
- Do you distinguish a difference between "universal gun registration" and "universal background checks"?
- What is a "hidden offence"?
My snarky "any day that ends with a Y" Is entirely accurate. That is the Left's standard go to, no matter what happens, with what and No 90+% of people do not believe whatever it is you think you believe. However, did you happen to notice how seamlessly you slipped in to providing garbage info on "Universal Back Ground checks", when the topic was "Universal Gun Registration"? EX: the still unanswered question #2 above
So, let's clarify "registration" briefly. It is specifically denied by law. A law that could technically be changed by law makers who are usually perceived as representative of the people that vote for them and yet, it has not happened to date, even though many of those are career (long term) politicians. Those are relevant facts.
And I'm still waiting on the answers for the 3 questions above.
