It’s called winning. But for you, it’s called whining.

Before everyone gets too carried away with Trump's "Victory", let's examine some things.
1. Prior to the Mueller report coming out, a poll conducted prior to last November's election put the Russia probe was 12th in importance to voters.
https://news.gallup.com/poll/244367/...migration.aspx
2. In 2 polls conducted AFTER the Mueller report came out, Trump's approval rating has not changed at all:
"A survey from Morning Consult/Politico found Trump's net approval rating was still struggling at -13, even with the Mueller probe coming to a close. The poll, conducted March 25 through March 26, pegged Trump's approval rating at 42 percent and his disapproval at 55 percent. Morning Consult/Politico noted those results were "virtually identical" to the survey it had conducted the week before."
https://www.newsweek.com/donald-trum...ry-lap-1376834
http://nymag.com/intelligencer/2019/...rr-letter.html
So Trump supporters on this forum should feel free to do their victory dance. But the fact seems to be that voters just don't give a damn about the outcome of the Russia investigation. In my opinion, most of the country thought along with me -- there was no collusion. So the resulting verdict that there was no collusion had no impact on the voting public.

Go back to 10/2016 and explain those polls. Didn’t seem like Trump had a chance.

Polls in 2016 were, for the most part, incorrect. In 2018 most polls were spot-on. Polls are one source of information at a specific point in time. Polls on presidential approval have been fairly consistent with the political climate. When something is done positively in the eyes of the public, the approval rating goes up. When something is done negatively in the eyes of the public, the approval rating goes down. So far, those polled see the results of the Mueller report as a non-player.
I'd be willing to be that had Trump's approval rating gone up a few points in the most recent 2 polls you'd be all over them. But there is time to see if Trump's approval rating is positively impacted by the Mueller report in the polls in the near future.

President Trump just came out atop the biggest political witch hunt in US History.
What part of "we have found no evidence of Collusion with a Foriegn Government by any member of the Trump Campaign or the Thrump Familly".
Even the most radical leftist will take note, and say, "They tried to railroad him".
And now, the Democrats are forgetting the basic rule of getting out of a hole. QUIT DIGGING". They will keep on, and President Trump will Coast to a easy Electoral Victory in 2020.
The Democrats have time to turn it around., they could start with a Platform. But what is that Platform? Higher taxes, more illegal immigration, free social programs and education for all. Destroying the economy with pie in the sky schemes aimed at eliminating fossil fuels in 12 years. More regulation to destroy business incentive.
Yeh, all of that's going to go over big.

Okay. We have one of our first predictions for the 2020 POTUS race. In my opinion what you don't understand is the negative feelings people have towards Donald Trump. He is different, and in the end it is highly likely that that will lead to his downfall in 2020. Not his politics.

When voters get a good look at his opposition, they will go with a strong economy and a President who is willing to get down and dirty when he knows he is right.
President Trump has a strong base. There are enough of those in the middle who simply cannot stomach the constant barrage from the extreme left radicals snd their hate America first agen.
President Trump does not care about the far left coast and the far right coast. They are not going to vote for him. He will concentrate on the middle, where all of that Red is.
Yes, it's an uphill battle. President Trump is the sort of fighter who can win that battle.

I don't vote for someone because I like them I vote for them because they have very similar ideology.
Hell you didn't vote for McCain because you didn't like Palin.
The fact is the Candidates the left has now are moving farther and farther left every day...that's not going to fly with heartland American as Hellery didn't fly with heartland America in 2016.
The electoral college is what elects the President not the popular vote which you on the left cry about every fucking day...for that exact reason...the loons on the left coast and the loons in the northeast would run the country.
You seem to favor Bitten...you fall to mention he left the Presidential race in 88' in disgrace...any reason you that, maybe you were to young at the time...i don't know.
The vote in the Senate on the New raw deal left the DEMS with egg on their face...your party is in serious turmoil and I believe your TDS isn't doing you any favors.

Where are those negative feelings towards Trump coming from? The vast Negativity is coming from the Media. The Media isn't your friend. They only want to supply the public with information that sells and gives them ratings what better way to accomplish that by reporting negativity. Especially about a political figure that they aren't suppose to like and therefore the public isn't suppose to like either and they encourage that without just cause.

Trump is the incumbent. Hard to beat incumbents.
Trump is the betting favorite.
https://www.predictit.org/markets/de...ntial-election
I've laid out a scenario which would lead to a victory by the Democratic candidate -- hold the states Clinton won and win back Michigan, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania. Easy to say, not as easy to do.
There are too many unknowns at the present time to make a solid prediction for November 2020. The economy could remain strong or the economy could tank somewhat. Immigration is on the minds of most voters. As is health care.
As you say, Trump has a strong and loyal base who will never desert him. And there are many on the other side who will never vote FOR him. It comes down to voter turnout in 2020 and which way the Independent voters turn. I expect voter turnout to be amazingly strong and who that favors, I don't know.
