Why Do Guys Use Hot Females As Their Avatar?

I see so many guys with an avatar of a hottt woman.
It's confusing.
When I first see it, I think, "Wow, would I like to do you!"
Then I realize it's a guy.

Could this lead to inducing homosexual tendencies?

I doubt it would be a precursor to homosexual desires. I just find it very disappointing.

There is a guy hanging out here who is using for his avatar a picture that a certain young lady I know used to use as an avatar, probably still has in her showcase. Everytime I see that avatar, I think, oh boy, another great post to read. (This lady was not only hot, but she was known for her intelligent posts.) Then I find out it is his dull ass with very little worthwhile comment being made.

I didn't have the time or inclination to look for an apt avatar, but I liked this girl's butt so much that I decided to use it. That was about four years ago. I am too lazy to change it and I still like her butt, so she stays until further notice.
