Perhaps there are people who don't want to fundamentally transform America. What did obama mean by fundamentally transform? Did he mean it in the same sense as the radical communists he admittedly looked for and hung out with in college?

I see one radical whack-job here has a derogatory comment for the beloved military. Aren't they the ones who are saving you from the clutches of the jihadis? The jihadis would love to ass-rape you before posting your beheading video on youtube.

Counteracting terrorism requires subtlety, finesse, and stealth - traits that the intelligence community is focused upon.

The military primarily intended for open aggressive confrontations so is inherently poor at effectively combating terrorism.

For all of your love of the military, our use of our military in Afghanistan and Iraq have hardly been shining beacons of effective anti-terrorism actions.

If anti-terrorism is your goal, the money would be better spent attacking the root of the problem, which is education and poverty. Educated people who have decent jobs and decent lives don't want to blow themselves up for their religion.

You regard any sort of questioning of the military as an attack on it, so yes I would say you are pretty in love with it. It makes sense given the Chinese penchant for blind obedience, so I won't hold it against you too much.

Our military did well taking down terrorists, you say? I'm sure all those WMDs we found in Iraq really put a dent in the terrorists' stockpiles... oh wait...

Certainly some terrorists will be educated. Most of those will likely be in leadership roles though. The vast majority of your suicide bombers and regular fighters are going to be poor and have no real prospects in life. Blowing yourself up against an imagined oppressor and getting your family paid / going to a theoretical great afterlife can seem like a great proposition in the face of that.

It's a lot tougher to recruit someone into killing themselves for you when they have a decent income and good life.
