Bengals and Browns: Grade Their 2010 NFL Draft Decisions
Well since I knew they would not do the smart thing and trade up to get Eric Berry, I actually wanted the Bengals to trade their first round pick and bolster late round or future picks (sort of the New england approach) or pick up a player in trade. We do need TE help, but i am not sure Jermaine Gesham is a fit for us as long as we still have Bratowski running the offense--he seems to have some goofy ideas about TEs. We will see how tonight goes.
I am glad they did not get Dez Bryant. I thought Tim Tebow would have been interesting--convert him to a TE or slash player--great leadership and character is a commodity, but they didn't go for it.
MLG, I know you are a huge Cleveland Brown fan, feel free to weigh in on how they did with Joe Haden at CB--nice pick. Will Colt McCoy be a Brown by Friday night?

I wonder if Cincy might be in the market for a QB if a decent one is available in the later rounds. Carson isn't getting any younger and a young, trainable talent is in their future in the next year or so anyway.
I like the TE as much as you can like any unknown. He's big, TE fast and has good hands. Also a good blocker.
I don't like short CB's so that's my knock against the guy CTown took.

Good call on Colt McCoy. He could be the reincarnation of Brian Sipe - small but smart with a lot of heart. And that's from a guy who hates the Longhorns!

Yes, I like him too. He showed a lot of heart and savvy in the OSU games. They couldn't afford to wait another year with the crew they just assembled.
Bengals, of course, had to draft another character project. They're worse than the Raiders! LMAO
