I’m very curious how common this is. Based on a little googling, I’m seeing estimates everywhere from 100 to 9000 additional people in the USA who transition with surgery each year. I suspect even 9,000 may be low. Still maybe this shouldn’t be a huge issue, at least right now.

Part of the reason must be the cost. Someone in the video said he and his insurance company had forked over around $1 million on surgeries. Well, just in case some of our fellow posters are (very unwisely IMO) interested in transitioning , here’s a list of insurance companies and what they’ll cover,
