I think both provider and consumer over simply. If a provider is expected to have a nice, clean incall (especially if they are traveling) the fuel to make it, the room rate, the area, they choose all builds up for overhead. The problem is when providers act as true biz ladies, call the overhead the price of doing business, keep their costs reasonable and manage expenses by increasing volume of appointments- then, we consumers only see it as “are we really getting charged >$300 for an orgasm???”. This alone is an issue that can be managed by thinking things through, but then the provider must deal with X% no call/no shows making the tour and their reasonable biz model unsustainable.
The “system” winds up driving prices up. Then, a provider makes a post like this with no context which is off putting to consumers. While personally I appreciate both the honesty of the price increase and a possible insight into the op’s biz ideology, I would simply urge we remember the market. We aren’t NY, Miami etc. this is LR where the mean middle class income is in the $50k range and all the blah blah blah of the associated economic implications of the LR metro vs AR market as a whole.
Dissertation over lol.
Ps on ncns hobbyist- I get shit happens, but we gotta reduce our contributions to the above bros
