Default House to vote to repeal Obama care ... For the 37th time.

Thirty six failures.

Thats gotta be a record!

You think the Republican majority might prevail THIS time?

You think you can show all of those votes? Remember this, it only takes one win and it's done just like prohibition, slavery, and segregation.

it made the news July 2012

It’s the second time the House has voted to repeal the entire health care law — and the 33rd time House Republicans have voted to repeal, defund or knock down any piece of the law. But like almost all of the other attempts, this measure is certain to die in the Democratic-controlled Senate

Does sort of seem like tilting at windmills, doesn't it?

Rare that representatives do what their constituents want them to do nowadays. In this case, that is exactly what they are doing, their job.

Although I'd have to admit, they are more likely doing this to get the Dems on record to use against them later when Obamacare fails, but they see it as a win-win regardless of the outcome.

It's a bullshit ploy, the GOP controlled House could starve Obamacare to death in an instant, by voting to NOT fund it!

For 40 years Americans couldn't even get a health care bill to the floor. Now the legislature wastes time repeatedly trying to repeal the biggest single issue voters ever put a president in office to get done.

Is this what the American people voted for the first time they elected Obama? I don't recall any specifics or plan before the election. Just platitudes and generalilties. I could win (as a democrat) if I promised to make everyone's life perfect with no pain and all pleasure. Just don't ask me to get specific. The point behind the votes, other than the political posturing, is that it puts everyone on record. Now I never said that I didn't believe that there were that many votes but I was hoping that someone else would look at the rollcall and see who has switched over from yes to no. We have seen some democrats like Bacchus announce their retirement from the Senate because of their support for Obamacare. There will be other votes closer to the next election. Which side are you on?
