Warning to Hobbyists who are New Site Users

I'm about to stop posting in the Nebraska board, at least until I need it again to support travel.

This was my community service announcement to the real hobbyists that actually need reliable information.

You seem more disturbed by making it clear than you do by the probable shill and/or sock puppet.

Someone has to help the new hobbyist out so I thought it would be me.

I'm posting it to encourage the real hobbyists to get more active. Don't let this forum be wasted.

I don't think people are that stupid, you're not giving them enough credit. Usually if people have questions, they ask and hopefully one of us will answer the question as best as we can. As I said before, I don't care if you hobbyists pick me to visit because that's not why I help you out. I've been in this business long enough to know that hobbyists and providers need to help each other out.

With that said, step away from the computer for a while and go enjoy what is left of your labor day.

It took me two weeks of checking the Nebraska board, e.com and others before I figured out who to believe.

Since you aren't a hobbyist traveling into Omaha, you probably are not aware of the perspective of an out of towner trying to make sure he doesn't waste his time or money.

A smart hobbyist doesn't depend on one board to find a provider he might click with, he'll do his research and then choose who he decides to see. There are at least 4 websites that a hobbyist can go to and feel somewhat safe in believing.

Your sentence, "be careful what you believe" says a lot. But, that's also true of every website that may offer reviews, etc. I don't believe everything I'm told nor do I believe everything I read.

You're trying to warn people who may visit the Nebraska forum when there's no reason to. People do read between the lines.

This reminds me of the chicken little story.

I'm warning ECCIE hobbyists who travel to Omaha.

I'm not aware that Chicken Little was an out of town hobbyist traveling to Omaha.

Had I relied on the Nebraska board and e.com, I would not have visited Kendra Kayy.

Because I expanded my use of ECCIE to Surge in Dallas, I reconsidered seeing Kendra. Seeing her and Raina were two good decisions.

But Bob does have a point. You have to check out the reviewer as well as the review, especially if there are only a few reviews to go on.

For my last comment on reviews, the whole middle of that defense needs to improve and hopefully the new LBs will figure out how to get the defense in the right alignment.

Oh, and the Runzas at Memorial Stadium were particularly great Saturday.
