As predictable as the media silence to follow comes the news that New York City's new left-wing mayor, who ran on a platform based in large part on raising taxes, paid an effective 8.3% tax rate in 2013 based on a total income of over $200,000.

He praises press freedom, yet the lawyer for The New York Times during the Pentagon Papers concludes: “President Obama will surely pass Richard Nixon as the worst president ever on issues of national security and press freedom.” He professes outrage over women not getting equal pay; but within his own administration women make 88% of what men make.

If Obama (and other liberals) truly believe the low amount of taxes they pay is immoral, they are free to voluntarily pay more ! That would be leadership ! Can you imagine ?
