The "Adult Industry", whether it be exotic entertainers, escorts, etc is always linked to having no intellect, manners, class, coof, table etiquette, etc. Why is that?
Although there is definitely a difference between sexy/sleezy & classy/trashy, I feel like the link has a stronger bond with the downside of things.

It's like any other stereotype, imo. Most people's beliefs and feelings aren't challenged by those who don't fit the stereotype, so that's what they believe. And then it becomes perpetuated.

I believe in order to be a successful Adult Entertainer one must have intellect to hold an adequate conversation. Not to mention it takes a level of intellect to understand the importance of punctuality and professionalism. He/She must understand that the drama must be left at home. Providers must carry themselves with poise and grace.
