I agree Fast Gunn......all horses should race in all three races or no race at all. How can one horse run in all three races without some level of fatigue? Doesn't seem fair that a horse can come out of nowhere on the third race and kickass and take away something like a triple crown. Just my $0.02

It is unfair to allow some horses to rest on the first or second race in order to be fresh for the Belmont Stakes. What dummy thought this would be fair to the horses who actually did compete?
I think it's time to level the playing field and make all horses compete equally.
. . . If any horse did not run in the first two rounds then they are disqualified from the Belmont Stakes.
