The official Chinese television announced that the island of Taiwan is being surrounded by military vessels, and maneuvers are taking place at sea and in the air.


Dubbed 'Joint Sword', the three-day operation - which includes rehearsing an encirclement of Taiwan - will run until Monday, the People's Liberation Army's (PLA) Eastern Theatre Command said.

China is now beginning the sea campaign for the Taiwanese island invasion. War is beginning.

US Naval and Chinese Naval assets, including airbornes, are entering/breaking through restrictive zones in the waters surrounding Taiwan. USN/Japanese assets will likely be involved before the conflict in the Pacific theater is resolved.

Graham Cracker has apparently lost his mind!!!

The United States has NO treaty or other legal basis requiring our country to defend Taiwan against an attack by China.

To the contrary, the United States has adopted the “One China” policy. Let China and Taiwan handle their differences themselves.

We could certainly offer to be a neutral mediator if asked to assist in “peace” talks.

Otherwise, we need to stay out of the business of China and Taiwan and focus on America which is in a mess.

Of course, the military industrial complex does supply Taiwan with weapons. The military industrial complex loves wars because it loves money.
