Amazon definitely is concerning me. Definitely a little nervous about Amazon and Walmart being the only stores remaining.

Amazon is so convenient and has everything.

I noticed recently amazon prices are slightly higher than walmart online.

It can depend what you buy. This week I was looking at an item to buy on Walmart.

Went to Amazon, and it was half the price. Ordered it by phone while in the car.
Arrived at my place in 2 days.

Amazon and Walmart are the last resort for me. If I can get it locally, I do.

I don't hate either, but I like supporting local business.

I would never advocate for government interference in a business, unless it's a safety issue.

they've been destroying small stores for years. some counties/towns got wise on their tactics and chased them out of their towns and counties by imposing zoning restrictions.
