Unfortunately, a large lump of our membership doesn’t know the difference between Jewish people and the State of Israel.

Not surprising. It’s another way the religious right has controlled their otherwise “Christian” base for decades.

FWIW the number of hate crimes has increased dramatically since Trump took office. 17% higher in 2017 than 2016. I'll let you and others determine for yourselves whether of not there's a correlation between the hate crime increase and Trump being in office.
