I've heard good things about Five Guys, but I haven't tried it yet. Maybe I'll head over there this weekend.

they say Five Guys french fries are the least healthy for you but they sure are good!

I haven't had Dan's or Fran's. I'll have to try theirs next. What about Moonie's Burger's at Anderson Mill. They just opened. Anybody try it yet?

I've been to the moonies in cedar park, but not the one on Anderson mill. It was good, I'm just sure if it is worth the drive out there though especially since I live about 5 miles from a mighty fine.

I'm partial to burgers at golf courses or bowling alley's. Also, Players on MLK near UT was pretty damn good.

That's what makes those Hill's burgers so wonderful. Actually, sweet buns are what make you so womderful, Tess!

Most of these have been mentioned. Nau’s on West Lynn (ask them to put grilled onions on your burger), Dirty’s (the D.H. Special is my favorite), the burgers at Hill’s, the Tavern, and the Frisco on Burnet Road – all Austin icons. At the Frisco, be sure to get a side of slaw. At Hut’s on 6th, try Mel’s No. 2, and get a full side order of onion rings. Limited budget? Screw the burger – just get the rings. The Bueno Burger at Mother’s on Duval is also a winner, beef or no beef.

I am partial to the ones I make at home on my own grill.

But since I like a "salad" on my burgers (they are so tall its hard to get my mouth around them) I also like Fuddruckers, where you can pile on all the fixins you want.

Hill's is good, too, because of that sweet bun.
