Does anyone know how to turn off the feature that sends you an email whenever you get a p.m.? I really don't want those notifications in my email box

Find the "User CP" button at the top right corner of the main page under "Main Menu." Click it, then click "Edit Options." You can then find and disable the option that sends you an email when you receive a PM.

You may also want to think about creating a separate hobby email, one that you absolutely has no issues with notifications.
