Another Special Election Another Conservative Defeat.
Just in case any of you conservatives missed it. A few days ago you lost (again),this time in New Mexico making it that much harder to take the house back. This was the first head to head contest between Democrats and Republicans and as usual the Democrats won. Melanie Stansbury who is not only a very smart woman, she's also a pretty hot redhead defeated her opponent by a wide margin.
Right now I would say that the Republicans are still favorite to win the upcoming midterms, however now that Trump is back on the campaign trail I will say that their chances are going to erode. Trump will hold rallies and open his mouth and spew his usual lies and negativety thus making the Democrats chances of retaining the house brighter and brighter.
Yaaaaaaay Trump!!!

Haven't dems had that seat on lock since 2004 or 2008 because of all the Californians moving to Albuquerque? I kinda thought that seat was a foregone conclusion.
there should be 4 left now - Texas, Florida, and 2 in Ohio. I think it'll be a split down the middle:
Texas 6th R+9, but is a foregone conclusion - the vote-off is between 2 republicans
Florida's 20th district is a D+9 lean
Ohio 11th is D+32 because it's a predominantly black district, everyone running is black, even the republicans
Ohio 15th is R+7
So unless there's surprises, the final seating should be 222-213

During 2020 an incumbent Republican president lost GA and AZ. How’s that for newsworthy.

Exactly the point I was gonna make 1b1. And for the sake of honesty Pennsylvania and Michigan were reliably blue states and we all saw what happened in 2016.
There was a special election in Pittsburgh in a district so red the democrats didn't run a candidate on the general election and what happened democrats took it from their ass.
There was a special election in Alabama a deep red state for a senate seat and what happened democrats took it from their ass.
At least at this current moment in time, one cannot take any district, state, etc. for granted.
The repugnicans fought for this seat in NM and got smashed. A lot can happen between now and Nov. 2022. And if Trump keeps opening his mouth that will be a plus for the Dems, not the other way around.

Anybody that thinks the Democrats will keep the House by doing what they are doing now, isn't paying attention to the mood of the country. Democrats are losing big time on 3 of the biggest topics, immigration, crime and education. You lose all three of those and you don't stand a chance of winning and that goes for both sides.
https://www.brookings.edu/blog/fixgo...erm-elections/
Still, official statistics support public perceptions that violent crime is getting worse, and elected officials from the top on down are likely to be held responsible. Only 36% of Americans approve of President Biden’s handling of this issue, far fewer than for his management of the pandemic (54%) and the economy (45%). And the administration’s efforts to craft an effective response will face a Democratic Party that is divided on the issue, giving Republicans an opportunity to gain ground on it.

According to an AP-NORC poll, 56 percent of people disapprove of Biden's stance on immigration
While I can't find any polling to back up my assertion that Critical Race Theory being taught in primary schools will hurt Democrats badly in 2022, I believe it will.

63% of the people approve of Biden's handling of the pandemic.

The border situation is Trump's mess period, the Republicans are trying their hardest to blame it on Biden, but it won't work.
Right now the Democrats are by far more united than Republicans are. Like I said before, Trump resurfacing will benefit the Dems more than the repugnicans.
I do agree with you, at this very moment the Republicans have the edge, but the midterms are still a long way from now. At least in political time.

Well you obviously aren't good at reading between the lines. No surprise here. If you actually read my post you would know what I was getting at (maybe). Why am I not surprised that the first far right poster in here had to resort to childish name calling.
That's ok, after losing as much your side has, one shouldn't be surprised at your behavior.

AZ is currently undergoing an audit of said election. GA has tremendous pressure on it to do the same. Can you recall a time in American politics, such things have happened? I can't in my recent memory, at least. That. Is. Newsworthy.

Sorry. You keep getting it wrong. Can you identify one thing that "Bitten" has done to "resolve" the "pandemic"? I didn't think so.
Thank you for posting a link to the "victory" lap ...

Yeah, pretending you’re responsible for the fastest vaccine development ever and threatening citizens to take it was a great plan.

No they aren’t. What is actually happening can hardly be called an audit. No one with sense will care about the results of a bunch of partisan hacks doing a shoddy job reviewing ballots without any controls except Trumpys.
If it was an actual audit they would have retained an actual firm with experience and credibility in performing this kind of review, rather than some dude that actually believes the election lie and is out to substantiate his beliefs.
You Trumpys sure are dumb.
