First Couple hosts celeb-filled concert amid sequestration

President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle will host a star-studded roster of music legends April 9 for another glitzy installment in the “In Performance at the White House” concert series, according to a White House press released issued Tuesday.

And of course, the White House belongs to us (as her majesty reminded this week); but don't dare come here without an invitation ! The Obama's closed the White House to the public - Now Go Away !

BTW, the Obama's have had numerous offers from the public to privately fund the White House Tours so the children of America's middle class could visit.....

But the Obama's refuse to accept such offers; they would rather not have the riff raff to deal with I guess.......

So America's kids get shuttered out of "our house" but the Obama kids get lavish vacations on our dime !

I do recall a president lowering the White House thermostats to show solidarity with the public during an energy crisis. I remember another president giving up his golf game when the US had troops in the field. I remember a preident who's only vacations were at Camp David (it wasn't called that then) and on board the presidential yacht Sequoia.
