National Pet Dental Health Month
February is National Pet Dental Health Month, and most vets are offering discounts ranging between 10-20% off of critter dentistry. Every dollar donated to my fanciful frisky follies between bow wow now and the end of the month is literally going into the maw of a wee woof at the Irish Chihuahua Refuge.
I call it Doing Doggy for a Canine Cause!
FYI, barking and meowing family members DO NOT naturally have foul breath. If your doggies or kitties open their traps and the stink is worse than the laundry hamper of the New England Patriots after the Super Bowl, that isn't normal and there's an underlying reason. Good dental maintenance can add YEARS to the life of your pets, preventing bacterial infections that can spread elsewhere in the body. There's even a link between bad teeth and heart disease!
Works the same with people, too, so take care of your mouths!
