It is no great revelation that hobby activity in the four corners is VERY limited, save for the plethora of amps. As such I tend to "stroll through STG and and a couple other sites that are, for the most part full of opportunities to get scammed. In the last 3 -4 weeks, I have encountered something that I personally had net experienced previously. Twice now I have seen a post that seemed to possibly be a real deal. Both times I texted to make contact, and each time we exchanged texts with the lady finally stating fees and that she had to have "partial payment" up front. I, of course declined stating my reasons for doing so. "She" responded that she had been scammed yada yada yada. I wished her luck and unlike others, there was not attempt to change my mind BUT shortly after those exchanges, the posts vanished. Not sure what to make of this. Any insights from you guys??
