Why use Back Page?

Guys, I still see the occasional review of a provider that was located on Back Page. My question is this: Why would you use or resort to BP when there are so many safe and lovely ladies on here?? It just makes no sense to take the risk to me and a lot of those BP reviews end with a "NO" recommendation anyway. I'm just perplexed....

Some providers from here post on Backpage too. One provider told me she gets more from there than here, so it can apparently be worth their time. I doubt I would go see anyone based on a Backpage ad only but have had a good time with a Backpager based on a referral from someone here. I agree it's more risky but there are some good providers there too.

Exactly. I think it's the same from the providers perspective… On Eccie, we are limited to 2 ads per week in our area. Backpage is a nice way to supplement advertising & announce immediate availability.

It's also great for letting hobbyists know your current location when traveling from one city to another.

No 100% iron clad guarantees even here. That said, I have never seen and won't see a BP ONLY provider. But there are a number of ladies here who know how to screen that also run BP ads.

I play in Jonesboro, there are not a lot of eccie girls here. I have found a couple gems on bp and have also found my share of crackhead wannabe scammers. You need to do your research regardless. I fell it's just a matter of time until LE makes a showing on here.

I have seen several with very little problems from BP. Craigslist before that and some CL now. Most CL ads are fake but just be wary.
I like like eccie but just like providers hobbyist need to always be on the look out.
Folks that do not approve of our hobby are not stupid and are not static.

Eccie is easier to contact, verification, research, and set dates. BP can be a lot of fun as well but you have to really do homework and research in my opinion. I've met some fun beautiful ladies there as well. To each their own.

Eccie has been dead for me for about a year but I can find the occasional BP lady who is AA friendly and my type.

I did not realize that ECCIE limited providers to 2 ads per week in their area. I can totally understand using BP to augment your exposure. Makes perfect sense. Thank you, Ginger, for that insight. I, personally, would not see a provider who is solely on BP. For me, it's just too risky. Maybe I have a false sense of security with ECCIE, but it is what it is. As someone who doesn't play often, I prefer to have that "security" and ability to research and see over a period of time how a provider acts on the threads and forums. Thanks, everyone, for sharing your thoughts!

I have a.d.d. or somethin when it comes to providers, always lookin for somethin new. have found a few gems on bp even though eccie is a safer route.

You don't think they're here already?

It's more a matter of time before they move to shut this place down. I think they'll shut Backpage down first, then move against dedicated hobby boards.
