I just started watching this is just came out.. and wow, it is really good. Here is a little intro trailer..

This show is the latest work of Aaron Sorkin. Everything he does has a leftist politcal spin. He's a talented writer, but definitely a propagandist for the socialists. I think the best thing he ever did was "A Few Good Men." He wrote the screenplay based on his play. It was entertaining, but Jack Nicholson was definitely the villain. The left never portrays the American military in a positive light, because they hate America.

HBO has produced some true gems: e.g., "Band of Brothers," "The Pacific" and "John Adams." But this new show, in the OP, is nothing more that crass, liberal propaganda and one needn't watch too much of it to discern its liberal bent.

I watched about ten minutes of the first episode of "The West Wing", another Sorkin show, and turned it off. It was obviously propaganda. I never watched another episode. It really seems like Hollywood produces propaganda, and then tries to work in enough entertainment value so that people will watch it. A spoonful of sugar helps the medicine go down.

You're right about the John Adams miniseries; it was excellent. The odd thing about the three miniseries you mentioned is that they were all produced by Tom Hanks (Playtone). Hanks is a left winger, but he doesn't seem to be quite as anti-American as most of Hollywood. I wish Hollywood would do more shows like the ones you mentioned. There are so many great American stories to tell. We have so many heros that deserve to be celebrated. We Americans need to celebrate our heroes; it's necessary for our survival.
