How do you identify and deal with scammers in the community?

So I've had a few bad run-ins over the past few years. It basically started on a trip to Las Vegas, back when CL and BP were still open (before sesta/fosta). You used to be able to just text chicks and meet normally. Now it's hard to even find them on dating websites (and there's a ton of scammers on there as well).


Some of my real friends in the industry told me how the process works. You actually have to get photo verified or video verified to even post escort/massage ads on most websites. Then you have to pay, either by the ad, or by the month, to even keep the ad going.


So why do escorts jump through all of these hoops JUST to rip a guy off on 50 bucks or even a few hundred? I mean I offered 1k to a chick after she ripped me off and she just ghosted me, with me being a pretty decent looking guy (hwp and younger).



Most of them are asking for cashapp payments, and cashapp will not refund money or even let you dispute the charge.



Has anyone successfully recouped their money after being scammed? Why do all of these websites hosting the ads make people do so much for ID checks just to let people scam on them? Are they fake sites?

i think they do it cos it's easy money w/ out having to do much of anything.
eventually, the cash won't keep rolling in, so they'll quit and figure out something else.

first of all, DONT PREPAY via giftcard, cashapp, venmo, etc. unless you can afford to lose it. and even not then.

second, if some "provider" rips you off, let the guys in your area know about her. post links or ph# so they can be aware.

finally, research, research, research!!!
go visit providers who have a good reputation for not ripping off guys and for providing a deliteful experience.

I do not give deposits! The only exception is if I am asking a provider to travel long distance or travel by air with me and tickets are needed.

Otherwise, show up and you get the cash.

I don't ask for deposits unless you've shorted or NCNS me in the past. In this case you've shown me you're not trustworthy & I don't schedule back ups.

I always require deposits and guys that prepay the session get ben discount for 1 hour plus dates.
Not all Providers are thieves or sneaky scammers.
Some of us take pride in giving you the best time while developing strong hobby relations.
It's a huge risk scheduling and even believing anyone anymore so I can't even imagine scheduling without deposits.
I only see one long time regular without a deposit & that's because he's an excellent guy & client and some one 1 see once a week..I hope to be able to trust others and trust them as easily but cannot forsee that & it's a mental pain hoping they are not going to waste my time being noshows
