Wish I could celebrate with y'all, but I'm stuck in old blighty watching the drizzle wipe out any prospect of cricket, and making Wimbledon very slippery, but Serena showed them how to do it. I wish I could slip into her, that would be a vigorous ride. Every grunt, I would have to hold my breath to keep myself inside.

Thank you for the sentiments, Nonsence. Did you realize that the official name of the holiday is Independence Day, the day we declared our independence from Britain? You may remember, many of our forefathers did not want to be like you, so this is the day we commemorate the signing of our “fucking” Declaration of Independence.


Thomas Jefferson started colleges here, because he was afraid if too many young people got their education in Britain, they would become like you. He didn't want that.


Even today, many people do not want to be like you. We still revere our “fucking” Declaration of Independence. After reading your posts, I understand why.
