Was I targeted in a sting?

It was about a month ago I received a text from an out of state number. The text contained pictures of a scantly clothed young girl. I immediately deleted the message. I never got anymore correspondence. This was shortly before the sting in Altoona involving an underaged teen surfaced on the news. Was this a close call or just a coincidence? I guess I can answer part of the question because I will never involve myself with an underage child.

Did it have text with it? Were they asian? I have found that some of the rotasions hold onto numbers and randomly send out messages when a new girl arrives. I recall getting one about a month ago as well so I'm guessing coincidence.

Based on the reviews here, and other ads, few weeks back, I had reached out to a couple of numbers.

Since then, every single day - I keep getting texts with pictures of Asian girls (very beautiful) from a new number every time.
I just see and enjoy the picture and then go about my rest of the day normally.
I never ever respond to that text back.

I’ve never visited a rotasian. The pictures were of a white girl. I’m not sure if they could implicate me by simply opening a text. Probably. They’ll have to catch me doing something else first.

I recieved a DM on here one time some years ago with a link that had something very similar. It didnt occur to me to not open the link at that time but when I did, it was quickly obvious it was unspeakabley bad. I immediately notifed the moderates here and they took care of it. But the take away from that for me was, I never open a link from an source that I dont know. Not here or in regular email or other media platforms. Stay safe, lads.
