Problems with Eros
Has anyone else had a bad experience in dealing with Eros?
I spent all day designing an ad and because I had one typo they are now making me jump through hoops to place my ad. God, one typo and now I practically have to hire a lawyer to correct it so I can place a $300/month advertisement. When I asked if I was a multi-million dollar account if they would be more helpful they said, no.
So, in essence they would turn down millions of dollars in advertising to not fix a typo or be more accommodating to the client.
Sheesh!

Seriously, I kept asking the supervisor, "so you're telling me Eros would turn down a multi-million dollar account because they (Eros) wouldn't spend $20 on a courier?" And he kept telling me "that is correct." I told him that was the stupidest thing I've ever heard!
I know for $300 account (which over the years will be closer to $10,000 if I'm happy), I will have to drive all over town and sign all their papers, etc... But, you would think for a multi-million dollar account they would hand deliver the paperwork.

I’ve always had very good experiences with EROS. I find them to be very professional, courteous and responsive. They made mistake once; and not only did they correct it, but they gave me a credit.
Sorry you had that experience with them.

Nicolette please don't take this wrong way.
Eros deals with hundreds of women a day. They don't want to nor do they have to play games with one of us. Essentially you were challenging and playing games with them. I have had nothing but good customer service with them from the very beginning. Now that I have secured placement with Eros they are even better. Build a good relationship with one agent and always ask for her. The agents do make commission but at the same time they expect respect too.

Hmm! That sounds familiar. Is there another occupation where ladies get paid and want respect?

Ansley, since you were not on the phone with me; you couldn't possibly understand the BS and run around they gave me. I used to have an ad on Eros for years back before I retired; so this is not my first time dealing with them. However, It has really gone down hill on customer service. I am not sure how they stay in business with their attitude. I used to work for Continental Airlines and they could teach Eros a lot on how to run a business. If I ran my past businesses like they do, I would never had been able to last very long. And at the airline, if any of our customer service agents were equally impossible, they would have first been written up then fired - by me.
But, we are talking apples to oranges. An advertising site dealing with a bunch of whores vs an airline dealing with the general population. The general population will alway demand decent service or they will take their money elsewhere.

PJ, since you put it that way:
What would you do if you showed up for an appt. with a provider and she picked up the envelope, counted it, it's all there but you miss spelled her name on the outside of the envelope. She says, "take it back, take each hundred dollar bill back to the bank and deposit it, then withdraw it again and put it in another envelope with my name spelled correctly." And you say, "I don't really want to drive to the bank, couldn't I just go out to my car and put the money in another envelope?" And she said, "no that is not my policy."
Would you drive back to the bank or would you take back your money and say, "forget it, I'll take my money elsewhere."?
Now, if she was a Dom and you like being bosses around, I'm sure you would answer differently.

I too am very familiar with the airline business. Like you said we aren't dealing with a company or a major airline. Eros knows that there isn't another place for us to take our business. Let's face it we get lots of great exposure and business by using their site.

The trick with Eros is to work as little with the human beings under their employ as possible. Set up your account on erosads.com. In there you use their automated system to set up and design your ad. You can save your work and get back to it later if you want. Then when you're ready to submit the ad, you can pay up to one or two months at a time, using a credit card. You can log in yourself and change your pictures once every two weeks without an additional fee. You can log in at any time and alter you text without a fee. It allows you to set up additional base ads in other cities if you like, and also allows you to place visiting ads.
Best of all, you never talk to anyone.
The only time I talk directly to Eros is when I'm paying for an ad placement for an entire year at once. At which point, I have always been able to negotiate a discount of some sort.

Because they are the closest thing to a comprehensive, (for the most part) national, one-stop advertising resource for finding escorts...
Just like years ago if you were a plumber or locksmith or just about anything else, when the Yellow Pages called, you said, "That much? Ok & its due when? The ad copy by what date? And I send that where? Ok? Great! And thanks!" then get off the phone and bitch to anyone that will listen how you just got ass-raped without the benefit of lubrication...

THAT is exactly why this bothered me so much. They have me at their mercy and they know it. That is why competition makes the market place so much better for the consumer. They don't care about my business because they are the biggest game in town.

The later. But I rarely put the lady's name on an envelope.
