Chick Fil A vs Popeyes chicken sandwich
So I was with a provider grabbing a chick fil a. She and I argued which is better.
Have y'all had Popeyes chicken sandwich. Shit, it God's answer to chicken sandwich.
We have decided to agree to disagree.
Oh what happened to the ads?

Hey Shep!
I was in New York last week and couldn't find a Popeyes, flew to Virginia on business and found a location but they were sold out as they have been everywhere.
Upon returning to home to Dallas last week, a friend of mine told me that there is a Popeyes in Terminal A16 at DFW...so I hopped on the SkyLink on over to check it out and ordered a few of these infamous chicken sandwiches.
They suck.
Chicken was juicy and crispy but the bun was dry.
No mayo, no cheese, no lettuce or tomato or pickle.
A whole bunch of nothing but a running nose because it was so spicy.
Not a fan and they have removed them completely from their menu.
There is my review.
And the Ad's are gone foreverrrrr

A group of 5 customers tried to rob a Popeye's in Houston on Sunday night
after they were told the restaurant was out of the new chicken sandwich.

Airport food is not the same.
I've Chick-Fil-A chicken breakfast biscuits at Love Field,
Pappasito's fajitas at Houston Hobby,
Chili's at Las Vegas airport, etc., etc.
The quality, preparation and flavors are not as good
or the same as their off airport grounds restaurant locations.
Also the prices are more expensive and the portion sizes are smaller too.

this.
and it makes sense. you are a "captive audience", you need something, anything to grab and eat, chances are near 100% that you will never eat at the place ever again, good or bad.

Most airports put the food area In the terminals past security now.
There is only so much room for so many eateries in the terminals.
The eateries also have to share space with gift shops, souvenir shops, and in some airports even high end shops like designer clothing, perfume,
and even Victoria's Secret stores (Los Angeles, London, Melbourne Australia, Nice France, Paris France,, Munich Germany, Hamad Qatar).
I doubt many of them airport terminal eateries have a fully functional fully stocked kitchen like their off site free standing restaurants have.
I remember the fajitas I got at Houston Hobby Pappasito's was not even on par quality wise with Taco Cabana.
It was like chewing shoe leather.
That's saying a great deal because you can hardly ever miss with Pappasito's.

Yeah I wasn't impressed with popeyes and I go there often for the "naked" chicken tenders but as far as sandwiches go, chick-fil-a all day (:
