FWIW, if anyone is interested, I can guarantee you that list was NOT compiled by nor was that "advertisement" placed by Chuck that many of you knew from Plaza Escorts . . . personally, I find the "advertisement" in extremely poor taste . . . I suppose that comment will land me in the "do not see" category the next time the ad is updated, if it is still there . . I would encourage anyone to report the posting as inappropriate or miscategorized. Backpage isn't a "review" Website, of those there are a plenty. In the past, backpage.com has been very proactive in pulling postings of this nature - in one instance, they responded to a flood of complaints by making the poster's email address and name public in their blog in an incident similar to this that occurred in another city. "Chuck" would do well to keep that in mind, especially if they out his identity through a DMCA request (those photos are copyright of their owner or the photographer whether "Chuck" believes them to be or not and they are subject to DMCA takedown notices and their use is actionable) or if someone catches wind back channel of who "Chuck" is, I'm sure he'll land on every Escort / provider's "do not service" list, regardless if they made the top of his "list" or not . . .
Kisses,
- Jackie

One thing is for certain, it will be an interesting next few days. Would not be surprised if this makes BP go the way of CL. I am making some popcorn and will sit by and read. Nah, maybe a dream first...

Already two providers that have responded to his ad. Looks like Chucky is going to start a shit-storm on BP. Grab a bag of popcorn, sitback, and enjoy the show
He's well within his right to post whatever he wants, after all he paid for the ad. But as usual, it's all subjective and he really doesn't provide anywhere near enough information for a hobbyist to make an informed decision.
I'm so glad I found ASPD, and now ECCIE as well as a few other sites some fellow providers and hobbyist have informed me about.

Actually the "ad" violates the Backpage.com terms and posting guidelines for the category (and their site in general), such actions have been similarly addressed by Backpage.com frequently. He is free to post whatever he wants, within the boundaries of the acceptable use policy of where he posts - or he is welcome to register a domain, pay for shared hosting and write a blog in which he can define his own terms and conditions . . . otherwise, no - he really doesn't have an inherent right to editorialize in such manner as it is specifically prohibited by the venue in which he is doing so . . not to mention that advertising is not protected "speech" according to precedent . . paying for an "ad" doesn't give you the right to do or say anything you want . . .
You may find the terms and conditions of classified advertisements placed upon the Backpage.com service here.
Do you have links to the responses, Ampad? That would be awesome!
Kisses,
- Jackie

Actually, there is a huge difference between "free speech" and "commercial speech" . . . See this link.
Only commercial speech that is neither false nor misleading is fully protected speech . . . but lower courts are ruling otherwise . . .
Thanks for the links and that will end my "reading in" too much. Now, where's my popcorn . .

And, they'll take it down every time - the only reason it was up so long this time was because of the the day of the week and time of day it was posted . . . every time this guy spends his money on an "ad", he's going to lose it, then they'll eventually block his IP address for violation of their TOS and he won't even be able to browse the site from that IP address. Backpage doesn't issue refunds for listings that violate their TOS and they'll win a chargeback request by keeping a copy of the "ad" and presenting it to his credit card company if he disputes the charge. I suppose in his mind, the money was worth it.

What is funny about this exchange are the two replies. His attack was removed and the only things telling viewers that the girls may be less than stellar are their answers.
