1. Can guests ride the elevators or do you need a room card to use them?

2. Can guest pay for the expensive parking with cash or do you have to use a card (which leaves a “paper” trail)

The guest need to pay for parking or park around the corner on streets. The guest can use the elevators without a card just certain floors need the card for example the room that had breakfast free for VIP needs a card. Beside that guest are able to get in. But guest need to get trough front door and turn right to elevators. Before you might be get a validation for parking if you eat in the restaurant but I think is closed. That is what I remember so far.

But can anyone simply just tell me if you can use cash to pay for parking there?

In case there isn’t-off street parking or I don’t complain to the hotel or eat breakfast there

Nope.
Its a ticket machine.
You can get validated, if you wish to talk to staff, and put that into machine with ticket.
Same as the parking at Allis Plaza.

By the way, currently no parking on Main due to construction. So park 2 blocks northeast, Warwick and 44th by museum.
