I already commented on this in the morning. It's rare that a person will light themselves on fire to the point of death as a hoax. However if that's what happned it does not change any of the racial arguments made in the thread. Blacks still suffer from racism, it's a fact. Many posts of you on the right in that thread even back up the stereo types and beliefs held by too many whites.

If she did it as a hoax, that is really sad.

That doesn't mean that blacks don't suffer racial attacks.

Look, Markroxny was wrong for jumping on the news article without waiting to see if it was true.

He ignored warning signs that it might be a hoax because the (false) "facts" fit his agenda.

But, criticizing the woman is also not smart. She is 20 years old and clearly deeply disturbed. Ridiculing someone who is clearly mentally ill as a "dumb" Obama supporter and declaring her as a representative "Democrat" is offensive.

Attacking the sick and infirm is never a good idea. Let's just leave her alone.
