ABOUT TIME OBAMA FIRE CDC FRIEDEN
CDC Thomas Frieden's testimony today, proved he is more a political operator than a health professional concerned with protecting the public.
Questioned by House Majority Whip Steven Scalise, Dr. Frieden refused to say whether or not he had discussed a travel ban with White House officials....he is obfuscating, deflecting and otherwise protecting the White House.
Over - Under on how long Frieden holds on before Obama tosses him under another on coming bus?

Obama hasn't fired a single incompetent buffoon yet. I highly doubt he will this time either.

Can you think of any President that fired incompetence in their administration? Most are promoted are put out to pasture with a cushy retirement. Nature of the beast....both left and right.

He sure knew what type of personal protective equipment to wear in Africa!
When it was his ass on the line. Fuck the "little people"!
Now, how about that VA for all those "boots on the ground" in Africa ...
.... when they start coming home sick.

There's a long list (left, right and non elected) of losers that fail at everything (by design) that need to be voted out or fired...
And some need to be behind bars! Or... I would prefer one of the many global black sites.

LLIdiot, you'll NEVER see the inside of a VA. You've ridden on the backs of others your whole miserable life. However, a free clinic is probably not out of the question, leech.

Rumsfeld was not fired , he resigned.
Question , Which do you think will cost more money and lives. The head of the CDC during this Ebola scare or the head of Intelligence in the run up to the 2003 invasion of Iraq?
Now Paul O'Neill that is a different story:
The president had promised to cut taxes, and he did. Within six months of taking office, he pushed a trillion dollars worth of tax cuts through Congress.
But O'Neill thought it should have been the end. After 9/11 and the war in Afghanistan, the budget deficit was growing. So at a meeting with the vice president after the mid-term elections in 2002, Suskind writes that O'Neill argued against a second round of tax cuts.
"Cheney, at this moment, shows his hand," says Suskind. "He says, 'You know, Paul, Reagan proved that deficits don't matter. We won the mid-term elections, this is our due.' … O'Neill is speechless."....
...He says everyone expected Mr. Bush to rubber stamp the plan under discussion: a big new tax cut. But, according to Suskind, the president was perhaps having second thoughts about cutting taxes again, and was uncharacteristically engaged.
"He asks, 'Haven't we already given money to rich people? This second tax cut's gonna do it again,'" says Suskind.
"He says, 'Didn't we already, why are we doing it again?' Now, his advisers, they say, 'Well Mr. President, the upper class, they're the entrepreneurs. That's the standard response.' And the president kind of goes, 'OK.' That's their response. And then, he comes back to it again. 'Well, shouldn't we be giving money to the middle, won't people be able to say, 'You did it once, and then you did it twice, and what was it good for?'"
But according to the transcript, White House political advisor Karl Rove jumped in.
"Karl Rove is saying to the president, a kind of mantra. 'Stick to principle. Stick to principle.' He says it over and over again," says Suskind. "Don't waver."
In the end, the president didn't. And nine days after that meeting in which O'Neill made it clear he could not publicly support another tax cut, the vice president called and asked him to resign. http://www.cbsnews.com/news/bush-sou...o-invade-iraq/

I think this proves Bush didn't want tax cuts that benefited rich people, and so the left wing criticism of him was wrong. Thanks WTF!

I have seen the inside of VA hospitals in four locations.
How about you smart-ass?
A problem with loud mouths like you is you reveal your true self by your mouthing off ... and ridiculing of others. What you were never told is that your fears are shown by your chastisement of others. The "fears" are that your true self will be revealed, so you attempt to keep the "bright lights" on others with the hope the lights won't shine on you.
A classic example is you mouthing off about Clarkesville, and claiming that some realtor's map is "authority" while ignoring a Government map even though you are a Big Government Man.
Everyone is a "leech" but you .... but YOU SIGNED UP FOR OBAMA'S insurance so you could get a "REDUCED INSURANCE PREMIUM" on the Government Tit.
Much like WTF and his illegal alien workers. He's part of the problem.
And so are you!

That growing deficit was not because of tax cuts, it was because of spending increases. It all adds up. Every little program, every little grant, every little expenditure for something unnecessary and before you know it billions have been wasted.
I don't know how many of you understand how they control the speed on a steam powered ship in the US Navy. The bridge calls down to main control and asks for either a speed change (1/3 to 2/3, 1/3 to full, or 2/3 to stop) or they change the number of turns on the shaft per minute. We had an officer on one ship of mind who was hapless. He was a nice enough guy but obsessed about things and usually screwed things up (probably an admiral under Obama). He was standing bridge watch one night and had the "con". We were traveling at about 1/3 speed for a port visit in the morning. He started calling down to drop two turns on the shaft, drop one turn on the shaft, drop three turns on the shaft, to back to drop two turns on the shaft. He didn't want to arrive outside the port early forcing use to loiter until it was our turn. He obsessed I said. Anyway, dawn approaches and the Captain comes to the bridge. He is surprised as hell to find that his ship is barely making steerage (the minimum speed that the ship can effectively turn) or about 3 knots. He wants to know how that happened and how we were two hours behind where we should be. The Lt. starts to say that he doesn't know but that maybe engineering was to blame for slowing us down. The helmsman showed the CO the log of dropping turns all night and they were matched by the bell log in engineering. The Lt had taken the ship from about 11 knots to 3 knots turn by turn.
The point is that spending in DC is the same thing. Each expenditure does not seem like much but add them all together and they can break a budget. The problem is that the vast majority of the representatives don't really care.
