Hypocrisy in the Pittsburgh forum.

There’s a crew here in Pittsburgh and some stragglers from other areas who have complained vehemently about political threads in the Pittsburgh Sandbox. All the while being frequent posters in these hated political threads. I have 3 non political threads currently on the 1st page of the Sandbox.

Very few of the complainers are participating. Geez, you would think threads concerning the Steelers, Pirates and Eccie would generate interest. Pretty much crickets around here. But the political threads continue to get the most posts from the people who complain the most about them. What a bunch of bullshit.

Actually, I'm finishing the hand-stitching on a new leather bbq apron while sipping some 1920, smoking a Tabernacle Goliath, listening to some Bad Omens and checking in on some of my favorite providers. One of whom just sent me a delightful set of preview pics of what she'll have on this weekend.

Life is chock full of interesting things beyond shit talking on the internet.

I’m sure that’s all true. There’s no way to prove it’s true. But here you are talking shit on the internet. What is evident, you continually post right after me. Before the ink dries. No matter what time of day. Then you get likes. It’s miraculous!!!! But in reality, it’s creepy. Now, you’re a busy, “huskie” guy. Hypocrisy in pittsburgh is alive and well.

The two tunnel city where ppl from the North and South are more divided than folks in the civil war-

You can't get there from here,

You gotta make 3 lefts to get back on that bridge. (-Imagine coming to this city and driving 1st time from the Parkway into town!)

Relative to my approach to winter here- I'm not a fan. I hate that it's almost like the groundhog every winter when all your neighbors and ppl just disappear till spring. It's not like that in other southern cities and I'm likely going to move in the next 2 yrs-- unless the housing issues only deepen. Only concern is that PGH prices on houses isn't keeping up with all the places I'd consider moving to. Those small little places that were 200k in the south are now 400-450 even for smaller joints. It's like you'll do an even swap just to downgrade. Anyone got secret places that they are targeting for winter or second house?

On the positive side- I'm breaking in my new Otto Wilde gas grill- it's small buy puts a hell of a sear on a steak!
