Lost my job, need to make $1000.

So lost my job about two weeks ago, and I need to make a little over $1000 to cover bills. Anyone have any ideas? Im willing to do almost anything. (please leave the sexual jokes out of here please.) Tough times are tough times! I have till the first of the month.

Not sure you're on the right board........ Sorry to hear about your tough times...... Only thing I can say is there are always places hiring night shifts, and pawn shops always buy used shit and old jewlery........

Help doesnt come if you dont ask for it. I dont really have anything of value, and I need the money soon. Ive been looking for a job, but refuse to work fastfood. I have a family to support. Dont want to get stuck in a minimum wage job. Even been leaning to the not so legal side

there are a wealth of resources for folks in your situation, that will make the rent, & electric payment.. one time, and there is red tape, but you just have all your documents and it is just time consuming, but feasible, and that cn get you some time to search for work.

hell, have a garage sale. if it's been a while since you've had one and you've got some things you can feasibly part with, you can easily make $1k.

otherwise, get on unemployment. cancel the cable and any other superfluous services/expenses. downgrade your cell phone plan. call credit card, phone, utility companies, etc. and explain your situation-- for the most part they will be understanding and will work with you.
