I just had the following experience.
Texted during the day, set up a meet at six. I drove an hour to get there arrived in town at the agreed upon time. Sent a text, no reply. Another a few minutes later, still no reply. Set up an appointment with another provider, left and headed to Midland.
About 6:30 I finally got a reply along the lines of sorry, we just had to deal with a bad situation, hope we didn’t miss you. I replied that I had already left town. She asked me to please come back, sorry for delay.
I canceled the midland provider, got blacklisted for that, took the next exit and headed back to Big Spring. Got there about 7:00, sent a text I was back. She replied need to jump in the shower, ready soon. I asked her to photo verify and received a reply with photos of a different girl, very cute blonde. I said that wasn’t who I thought I had been communicating with and she replied that her and a friend work together and then I got the requested pick/pose from the girl in the ad. Said she would be ready in 15 minutes, needed me to pick her and then she would get a room. Got a text a few minutes later asking me to get condoms because she was out. She sent an address.
I arrived at the address, texted that I was there. She said great, be right out, just need to grab my bag. FIFTEEN minutes later I am still sitting there waiting. I texted, no reply. I called (texting service message, no calls allow.) Finally sent a text that I was giving up and drove away.
Felt guilty so pulled over and sent another text asking what was taking so long. She replied it had been a really difficult day and she was trying to deal with something that happened and apologized and said she was embarrassed. Made me feel more guilty so I wrote back to take care of what she needed and to text me later and we could try to figure out another time to meet. Drove an hour home.
Got home and opened my phone, browser was still on STG Big Spring. Refreshed the browser and saw she had posted a new ad at 6:00 (when she was supposed to meet me originally,) and another “two girl special” ad with both her and the blonde friend pictured.
I was obviously irate. Sent a message asking if she just got a higher offer instead of meeting me or if it was a scam all along. Of course, no reply.
I have been ghosted three times after driving two hours to Midland. I have been bait-and-switched twice (once Midland and once Abilene.) I have been cheated twice (scheduled and paid for an hour at arrival and was told to finish and leave after 20 minutes (once Abilene, once Midland.) I have tried three different tryst women, drove four hours to Dallas three different weekends, each was 10-15 years older and 30-50 pounds heavier than pictured. I am ready to give up.
Encounter - Maybe I just have rain clouds following me around?
