Ms Ball is blaming the NRA for the Ebola crisis since they oppose the nominee for the office of Surgeon General for his extremist views on gun control but how does that stop Harry Reid from having a vote. Could it be that several democrats would vote against the nominee because they think those views are nuts or they don't want to have to get into this just before an election? In any event, this look by partisan since the democrats have to votes to confirm the nomination outright.

Correct. The doctors are the ones that end up cleaning up the mess that is left when an assault rifle round strikes a 6 year old ala Sandy Hook. Fuck you whirlytard.
Murthy is eminently qualified, his credentials are beyond reproach. Unlike the halfwits around here, he understands, along with almost every other healthcare professional in the United States, that when you have 30,000 people a year dying from gunshot wounds, it is a major health issue.
I personally find the idea that a lobbying organization like the NRA can control who is going to be the surgeon general of the United States repugnant and fucking ridiculous.
