I've seen this happen - article about Facebook outing ASP's (could also out clients)
I saw this article today. A few years ago, I saw this happen. A provider's real name and pic showed up in the "people you may know" on Facebook. I gave her a heads up about it. As the article states, FB doesn't say how it makes the connections.

There are at least 5 or 6 providers locally that have popped up on my fake FB account with their real profiles..names, pics of kids, friends etc...
I've also had some of them email me from their personal email accounts, again with their real names listed.

Ignoring that some folks do trust each other, when it comes to tech stuff linking, folks need to carefully keep things separate.
Ie seperate fb accounts, seperate phones, seperate emails, etc.

Some of the Google and Facebook software plucks contact/phone data out of your handheld or other computer.

Once again the idea that we have any type of privacy is slowly becoming extinct.
This stresses importance of protecting your RWI.
Another reason why discretion is my top priority. Even more important than ensuring that you have the most intense, toe curling, mind bending, explosive orgasm ever!

We don't need you to tell us anything to learn about you.

"Her sex-work identity is not on the social network at all;a different email address
a different phone number
and a different name.
she’d only given Facebook information from her vanilla identity" What are you thinking people ? Face book only gets the information that you give it?
NO! It traces your electronic signatures and electronic locations.
Rules: - Do NOT enter Facebook from any site that you do not want it to know about such as ECCIE with a forwarding link.
- Do not enter face book from any computer you use for the hobby!
- You need a different IP address for the hobby. There are ways to get one.

That's happened to me, when I had facebook (deleted my profile) but I saw a familiar face in the people you may know. All your shit is interconnected and interwoven.

Agreed. Completely. Even more frustrating for those of us who don’t show our faces on here....I can’t very well chop off my head in my fb pics.
...but I post very few pics cause of the privacy issue nowadays.

Lol I remember MySpace. That had a lot more things you could do with it then Facebook. I think when our phones all get close to each other we all have Facebook on our phones and somehow they electronically connect to each other. I don't really pay attention in the people you may know area the only reason I saw him is cuz literally I had just seen him like 3 days before. Hopefully a good and decent person won't try to get all up in somebody's business and look all on their profile they'll just scroll past it.

That is OK. We all know how really attractive you are. I have a lot of your past pictures saved up; those picture are mine and I will not share them.
If a guy saves up a lot of pictures: he doesn't have to spend as much money on the ladies.

Yes. At one point I wasn’t so careful and a bit reckless. Trusted the wrong ppl. Loved the wrong man. Believed in my provider friends. Yep. I made mistakes. Sadly, I know those pictures are out there. I’ve heen outed and I’ve felt the wrath of other bitches. It hurts. But we move on. We keep pushing. And we make it. So thank you for pointing out my mistakes. I still learn from them. Enjoy my pictures. They’re online for many to enjoy, and the few selective to reach out to me and build an everlasting friendship....
Love one another. We are all we have.

We can do things right today, and then tomorrow we can do it again.

Gemma,
You are OK. Don't let all of the crap in the hobby pile up on you. When you need some personal time: take it. Time off is important. Sometimes it is not a mistake, one just gets tired. It is better and cheaper to take a vacation than pay to visit a psychiatrist. I have had close friends die, and it makes one sad: we go on with life.
A smart man learns from his own mistakes
A wise man learns from the mistakes of others.
Take that as man = person, man or woman.
We can do things right today, and then tomorrow we can do it again. When we fail, we get to start the process over again with no penalty.
Do the best you can: everyday.
By the way, you are a very attractive lady. We know you enjoy your tattoos, but you didn't need them to be attractive. You are beautiful because of who you are.

By the way, I tried something yesterday. Facebook would only let me on as JRLawrence. When I traced things back onto my computer there were items loaded that I did not want when I did a "Find" for "Facebook" on the hard drive, and back up drive. Removal helped, but Facebook still automatically opened to JRLawrence with no password. Wow. Removed all of the browser cookies on all browsers.
Got it! Now when I searched for Facebook Manually long in through Google, it took me to the log on page where I could enter another account with the password. I remembered that I had logged onto Facebook from ECCIE which took the identification of JRLawance and created a new account that would automatically open for any access to Facebook, and identify me as JRLawrence. The password was automatically created as the password to the email used for ECCIE. If you do not have a separate email account for ECCIE, get one. My other email accounts are not available here.
You want to get rid of the cookies, until you can manually enterer the email, user name, and password. MANUALLY ENTER.
This took a while to figure out it was cookies created when I went to Facebook from ECCIE.
I also went to the available settings on Facebook and turned off everything I could. I don't think one can totally delete the account, once it is created.
