Anyone ever did this in the olden days before the internet and smart cell phones?

I was at the grocery store and they have that rack by the door with the free real estate listings books, the Greensheet, the little neighborhood newspapers and a stack of Yellow Pages.


I can't remember the last time I had a Yellow Pages or White Pages or any kind of phone book in my home or seen one. I want to say it's been at least 15 years.


Anyway, so I open it and turn to Escort and they still have escort listings.


Has anyone ever call those Escort phone # in the olden days before the internet and smart cell phones and had any luck with them where you actually gotten a pretty girl with skills and good attitude ?


In the 1990's to 2000's I used to call the phone # in the classified section of the free Houston Press newspaper publication, which is the same as the Dallas Observer.

I remember one time in 1998 I asked for a blonde girl and they sent a Mexican girl, not fat, a bit thick, and she turned out to be a wild one.


I even had her come back by several more times until one day she told me she was moving to Missouri. What the fuck is in Missouri.


Or go to Vegas in the 1980's to 2000's and they have all those sex newspapers advertising 976 phone # and escort girls and the girl that shows up doesn't even look half as close as the ones in the photos.


By the way, the Bombshells listed in in one of the Yellow Pages screenshot below is the same Bombshells breastaurant next to Silver City, both owned by Rick's.

One time in 2001 I call a number for massage in the back of the Houston Press asking for a white girl and they told me, yes we have girls like that: they sent a fat black girl.

Fat as in over 200 lbs.

I did not open the door.


I'll need to reverse search every one of those # in those 2 photos. It will be funny if any of them come back to any providers or studios or AMP that's been mentioned or have ad listing elsewhere.

What choice did we have. I started hobbling in the late 1970’s. When in the road fir business in a different city, that was all we had. You had a gold mine when someone else annotated the listings with their experience with an agency. I had about two go to agencies in every city where I traveled regularly.

It was like a box if chocolates, when you were in a new town, you never knew what you were going to get.

Same here - and I can honestly say I never had a loser show up - but they were crazy expensive - and as soon as they walked in, they'd call their agency / Tyrone from the room, and then your room phone would ring at about minute 55.

Yes, the old Yellow Pages ads were my first stomping grounds whenever I first started in the hobby. If anyone else was like me then obviously you also noticed that many of those different numbers all went to the same company. The "Can I help you?" when they answered the phone by the same person was always a dead giveaway.

Back then, there were a few scammer girls but for the most part, the service was excellent, the TCB was on point and they were dependable. Compare that with the providers of today.

In my early hobbying days way back in the 90s I was traveling and stayed over in Rochester, NY. I gave a call to an service using the hotel phone and phonebook. It was such an amazing time, arguably still among the top 10. I had spent decades trying to repeat it until I just realized it is likely never to be.

Really wanted to try an Asian and used the Yellow Pages Escort section and finally found an agency that sent one to my hotel. The experience wasn’t great but wasn’t bad either. She was a very nice lady and gave me her phone number so I could contact her directly and bypass the agency with a lesser rate. Was leaving town the next day however.

I picked up my first streetwalker in 1975. I didn't like the paranoia of that. About 1990 I figured out there were ads in the Observer and when I moved to Fort Worth about 1992 there were ads in the Star-Telegram for lingerie models. I had a kinky girlfriend at that time and we would have lingerie models that saw couples come over. After the girlfriend left I stuck with the lingerie models until the Star-Telegram stopped running the ads. I saw several women quite a few times. Everyone was cooperative and fun. I never had anything stolen and I was never scammed or cash and dashed. Now you have to watch out for all of that.
