Default Owners of The New York Times’ Family Were Slave Owners

https://nypost.com/2020/07/18/the-fa...dwin/:sleep_1:

This might have been covered in the past year, but for some reason, I never read about it.

So I guess the “wokest of the woke” in the news business turns out to be Confederate sympathizers and slave holders.

They want to cancel every body from George Washington to Abe Lincoln, perhaps they should look at their own past.

They, apparently, benefited greatly from participating in one of the most vile of institutions in New World History.

So were most of the founders of this country. I don't see a lot of problems raised except for specific BS issues.

so were the various black tribes of Africa. at least 70% of slaves were sold into slavery by their own due to black intraracial conflict. the left would have you think blacks played no role in slavery when in fact they were the prime driver of slavery. this is why no bullshit "CRT" or "1619" crap is worth shit. it's all lies to cover the real culprits of slavery. the black race.

This has absolutely nothing to do with Democrats or Republicans. You have lived up to your name Wacko. Of course the black African tribes captured and sold other tribes members. There were all in business together. And everybody knows it.

Maybe there would be less conflict if people didn't get divided up into teams.

Perhaps the OP can check his record for the Indian conflicts in the USA.

So the real culprit of slavery is the black ancestors that were sold here!

And the Jews were the real culprits of Fascism....not Hitler!

Did you teach history in Iran?

The vast majority of people in this country circa the 17th and 18th century were NOT slave holders. Slaves were expensive to buy and keep. Only the rich could afford them. Maybe you're talking about the signers of the Declaration of Independence? Or the Constitution? According to my source, 25 of 55 signers of the Constitution owned slaves. Not a majority and many of them only had one or two as personal servants and not laborers.

Hate to say it that way but is the way it was in 1789.

Here is a quandary...according to the scholars, 12 million Africans were transported to North and South America, Europe, and the Caribbean. We see their descendants today. But 18 million Africans were transported to the Middle East and points East...where are they or their descendants?

Maybe in the NBA and the NFL

Another tangetial point......blacks in America today are far better off than their African brothers and sisters. So Wacko can argue slavery was the best thing that could have happened to Africans.

Pretty early for you isn't it? Kind of obtuse...where are the descendants of African slaves in Middle Eastern countries? Let me help, many Arabs masters knowing that slaves were plentiful, castrated their male slaves to prevent children.

No American alive today ever owned a slave, no American alive today was a slave.

End of debate.

We might as well argue over who sold the first loaf of bread.
