Zimmerman is out of money
Lawyers plead poverty. Wonder what they spent the $315,000.00 on since the attorneys "haven't been paid a cent"?
ORLANDO (AP) — George Zimmerman's defense fund is almost depleted with less than two weeks until the former neighborhood watch leader goes on trial in the fatal shooting of Trayvon Martin.
Zimmerman's attorneys posted on their website Wednesday that the fund had less than $5,000 left. The fund had almost $315,000 in January.

The attorneys say they calculate that Zimmerman needs an additional $120,000 to put on a good defense or even $75,000 to give him a fighting chance.
Attorneys Mark O'Mara and Don West say they haven't been paid a cent and many interns are working on the case without pay.
They say they will need the money in the coming weeks to pay experts and for transcripts of depositions.
Zimmerman is charged with second-degree murder. He is pleading not guilty.

Good for you dumbass....might as well flush it down the toilet.
There is something odd about $315,000 disappearing in 5 months with none of it going towards attorneys' fees when you've been charge with second degree murder. Remember the recorded phone calls between Zimmerman and his wife? He claimed indigency while they were squirreling away $130K in donations? He better save some of that money....Both he and his wife have perjury charges in their future....

They will make it all up on The Book Deal and The Movie.
That is, unless Florida has a Son of Sam Law. If they do, then that will give the defense lawyers even more cause to get him found not guilty.

Not to worry, Trendaway, gritsboy, Corneyhole, IFFY, IB Syndrome, nostones, The Barista of Highland Park, East Texas Rig Hand and the rest of our "successful," rich Looneyz are, as we speak, mounting a financial campaign of monumental proportions, right? I suspect that those guys are all about putting their money where their mouths are. Well, maybe not, since I've never found any hundys wrapped around my shaft.

Original link?
You evidently have never been in a prolonged legal case. The link you posted said he was out on $1MM bail. It also didn't say whether his original lawyers were paid.
I can believe he's gone thru that much money. Who's going to hire him? The New Black Panther party put out a "Dead or Alive" poster and the Feds did nothing. If I were Zimmerman I wouldn't have my wife tell the judge how much money we had either. Although I believe the explanations LexusLover gave about some of the judge's preliminary rulings, I believe "the fix is in." Even if Zimmerman does not get convicted, I expect Eric Holder to come down and charge him with a Federal Crime.
