ANOTHER CREEPY DEMOCRAT WHO MANAGES TO GET ELECTED !!!!!!
The Democrats are without morals......................
Va. lawmaker who brandished AK-47 during legislative session was disbarred following assault, death threat
A Virginia lawmaker who drew gasps from his colleagues when he brandished a borrowed AK-47 during an anti-gun speech Thursday was found guilty in 2002 of committing a vicious 1999 assault, was sanctioned for legal misconduct while prosecuting a rape case, spent six months in jail for contempt of a federal court, and saw his law license revoked in 2003.
Democratic Delegate Joseph Morrissey brought the rifle to the floor of the House of Delegates to demonstrate how easy it is to carry firearms in Virginia. Republican Delegate Todd Gilbert interrupted Morrissey’s speech to ask him to remove his finger from inside the gun’s trigger-guard — a basic gun-safety practice.
“I don’t think you should be able to possess an assault rifle,” Morrissey told ABC News on Friday.

Clearly an idiot. How did he become a candidate, let alone elected?
I like this comment on your link:
"to even BE a democrat requires one be a Criminally Insane anti-American hysterical evil baby-killer traitor pig freak. And that is the civilized ones."
Idiots on both sides.
Come together, kumbaya, ....

Politicians both Dem and Rep crack me up with their views on the 2nd Amend. If they make it and market it on the open market, I say you should have the right to posses it as long as you are not a conficted Felon. Thats why a person can't legally own a Bazooka, its not for sale to the consumer. If they want to ban something they need to stop making it and recall all existing models that are currently for sale.

And We Learned What From This?
heh heh heh, dumb'n'dip-sh*t Teawipes...
We learned that when the occasional "weirdo" Democrat shows up, it's NEWS!!!
Don't you wish that was true with Teawipe inspired Republican'ts? As it is, they're a dime a dozen over there in rat-wing-land.

Check out the picture. That is not a AK-47 but a MAK-90. Moron doesn't even know what he has in his hands.

Uh, JD, what does MAK-90 stand for (Model AK - 1990 maybe)? What did you use to identify it as a MAK-90, the stock? Now an AK couldn't have a similar stock either now could it? I doubt even you can tell whether it has a milled receiver or not from a pic. Now who is the moron (but we already knew that).
Besides, it was probably the journalist who called it an AK-47. Oh, and likely it wasn't a "real" AK-47 as all of those were selective fire capable of full auto and MAK-90s and many other AK-47 copies were produced as semi-auto (also something you can't usually tell from a pic). But it IS an AK-47 copy and only distinguishable by experts or close inspection.
The less technical answer is that the Mak-90 is a very well built Chinese copy of the Russian AKM assault rifle which can be found in semi-auto configuration and were mostly imported to the US as sporterized rifles using a thumbhole stock and no muzzle brake or bayonet lug. There were some milled receiver MAK-90's. There were also some MAK90s without the odd angle-cut receiver back. So, they won't have a bayonet lug or a threaded barrel or a pistol grip in their as-imported configuration. The thumbhole stock also is shaped in such a way that it makes them look like they have slant-cut receivers, but most of them are normal AK style cuts.

The guy is creepy for a lot of reasons; but whether the gun is a MAK 90 or 47 is meaningless.......the guy is a convict, yet the Democrats elect/support him.........
Thugs, thugs, and more thugs in the Democrat Party.

For the first (and probably last) time, I agree. But it goes both ways.

Yep...that's a MAK-90 made by Norinco.
It is the sportsman model and it originally came with a 5 round clip.
It is and would still be a legal weapon, except the one pictured has a 30 round clip.
One could legally put a "Hell Fire" trigger on it and it would fire as if it were fully automatic.
Great squirrel gun!

I identify it as a MAK-90 because that was one of the many weapons that I have owned but mine didn't come from communist China. Mine was an Egyptian Maadi MAK-90.
Did everyone miss the obvious? If this guy was convicted of a crime of violence or a felony then he is not allowed to have a firearm of any form. He has apparently committed another felony. Why isn't he in handcuffs?

How does it "go both ways" ?
You haven't posted anything similar by a GOP elected official who was elected after federal convictions, jail time, violent behavior, And forfeiture of law license......
Waiting on a post to back up your claim...............
