Dos Santos v Velasquez
Not a big mma guy. Only been to one ppv at bikinis.
So I flipped over while watching football to catch "The World Heavyweight Championship."
My reaction: A little dancing, one punch and its over in a minute. At least I didn't have to pay for it.
Am I missing something? Was anyone happy with that fight?

I was bummed it was a short fight, but you never really know how it's gonna end, and thats what makes it exciting. Sometimes it'll go all 5 rounds, but be a really boring fight. Sometimes it's a KO in round 1.

I thought it was a mistake for Dana White to only put one fight on that card for that very reason. If there's a fast knock out or it turns out to be a boring fight it's best to have at least one or two other quality bouts on the card. It was the first major Fox promotion of the UFC so maybe they'll change it in the future.

Dana looked pretty annoyed on his post match commentary.
At least it was free for viewers.

I was very surprised that Cain thought he could stand up and trade with JDS. Kongo hurt Cain in their fight but not enough to stop Cain from taking it to the ground and keep it there. JDS knew to trade with this guy because he would not be able to take too many punches
I was not surprised by the result but how quickly it happened.

Maybe Phenom is legit.
Pro simply means you get paid to do something. Record, amount paid, etc doesn't matter as long as he makes a penny lol

There are a lot of pro fighters in Austin.
I'm not surprised since Austin is one of the coolest cities in US and A, especially for single people.

That is true, Austin is starting to draw more and more fighters in addition to developing home grown talent. Apologies to "phenom".
