Of A visit just not sure what island to stay on. I know I would fly into Honolulu but not sure if I should move around?
What's good to eat there? And nice places to stay?

It all depends what your looking for,and how long you plan stay. I will assume your plan is to stay a week.

There is a lot of history in Oahu, and throw in a few museum you could spend a week in Oahu. Most of all hobbying takes place in Oahu, it the big city of Hawaii. Majority of the business travelers all end their trip in Oahu.


If you want slower pace Maui, Hito, Kawaii, all offer relaxing experience, but the hobby scene suffers. If it was me, on other islands I would spend three days in one location and four other days on the other side of the island (or travel to a different island). I usually travel to Lahaina once a year, and one week in Lahaina is too long for me. Last trip I spend three days in Lahaina, then flew to Hilo for four days.

My experience with the other islands is when guests travel to Hawaii they are often paired up with SO for romance.
