Default Ted Turner on CNN

https://www.yahoo.com/news/cnn-found...163101894.html

Ted Turner , founder of CNN doesn't like the direction his former company is going, says too heavy in politics and isn't balanced enough.

Meaty story.

The real story on Turner is that he’s suffering from a rare form of dementia.

Turner was forced out after the Time-AOL buyout. He pledged a billion dollars to the UN to fight climate change. The pledged money ran out about four years ago.

I don’t think he ever went bankrupt. He lost 8 billion on the AOL/Time Warner merger. He also gave the UN a billion and is the largest private land owner in the US.

looks like they screwed him good.

corporate coup de tat.

Turner was the majority owner of the network, so how was it possible that Steve Case of AOL able to force him out.
