Default Barak OBama' liar in chief

Even a liberal bastion of support like the Washington Post has had it's fill.

http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/...efKH_blog.html

"What we found is one of the most misleading collections of assertions we have seen in a short presidential speech."

Good story. Shame on Barry.

But I guess the next question is ... why is a conservative bastion of truth like you trusting the Washington Post? They're all the devil anyway, so how can you believe a word they say?

J.R. Richards was one of the most dominating pitchers I ever saw. Watched him pitch a one hitter against Dodgers, oh so many years ago. Sorry, your avatar got me going more than the hype/type.

When Obama's mother met his father she was seventeen. Three months later she was pregnant with the child of a Kenyan con-man. Though he agreed to marry her he was extremely abusive, and then took off for Kenya, where he had other wives waiting around for him. He also slapped them around, beat them when it suited him, and had more kids.

Then she married an Indonesian Army Officer who was busy hunting down hundreds of thousands of rural villagers and killing them in an "anti-communist" genocide which took the lives of over 300,000 Indonesian souls. It's not surprising that such a guy wouldn't really want around the half-African son of his new American wife's former husband. So little Barry was sent back to live with his grandparents in Hawaii.

If you read his first book, his biography, he says that he never felt any belonging anyplace until he went to Kenya the first time. After that he moved to south Chicago, became a community organizer, and joined a wacky Urban church which he would later renounce after 22 years of membership.

This guy's so confused, so rejected, so desperate for acceptance and adoration that it's just pitiful.

He doesn't even know who he is or what he is.

He'll say or do anything just to be liked.

He has no other agenda and no ideology.

I agree. That guy could have been the greatest. Just one of several Astros who self-destructed, including Cesar Cedeno and Don Wilson.

Remember them, TAE? (BTW -- I'm still gonna vote for Obama.)

He really dominated those RH bats of the Dodgers (and everybody else) when the Dodgers were winning all those titles. No telling what he could have achieved had he remained healthy.

Anybody is better than George Stinking AWOL Bush who lied us into a war, destroyed the constitution by jailing US citizens without due process, spying on US citizens without warrants, violating international law by invading soverign countries, and torturing prisoners.......I've got problems with Obama...but nothing like the bastard that preceeded him!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!

It's beginning to look like he can do it in his only term.

Alright Billy. You care to lay out your big plan to solve the unemployment problem? We've tried the GOP route and extended the Bush tax cuts in spite of the previous ten years of job losses in the United States. Since *He* did it, you and your party must have a plan that will fix it right? Let's here it.

I would also be curious as to your thoughts as to why the newly elected GOP/Tea Bagger congress has not introduced anything even close to resembling a jobs bill. Seems to me that it would be top priority given the state of things. They've had time to pass alot of other useless shit, bitch about NPR and Planned Parenthood...why not something that might actually be beneficial to their constituents?

I think and hope he will be a one term president. I also thought that no way would he beat Hillary for the Democrat nomination and that she would lose to McCain. Who knows what will happen for sure. The country is very divided.

"What we found is one of the most misleading collections of assertions we have seen in a short presidential speech."
Not so fast. The president snuck in the weasel words “during my presidency” in his statement. What does that mean?

What does that mean? It means what it said. DUH!

This is a liberal bastion? What bullshit! What does it mean when you add words to keep from lying? It means you didn’t lie.

A straight forward true statement is called a lie. It supports your argument so you kind of miss the obvious.

This is chicanery. Under the president’s math, Chrysler paid back 100 percent of Obama’s loan and less than 70 percent of Bush’s loan.

Liberal, huh? Under the President’s math and by his statement, Chrysler repayed 100% of the money his administration loaned to them. In a short speech. He could have said the money that the Bush administration gave them had no stipulations for it to be paid back.

None.

But this was a short speech, not a national budget review. Any numbers you give in a 10 minute speech will have have astrixs of some kind.

A more honest presentation would combine the two figures to say U.S. taxpayers got back 90 percent of what they invested. In fact, that is how the Treasury and other administration officials frequently portray it; it is just when Obama speaks that the numbers get so squishy..

Politifact.com wanna-bes. On Politifact.com, conservatives and liberals alike are given ratintgs based on exactly what they say. I’m sure the “fact checkers” at the post think that “and” and “or” are weasle words but the fact of the matter is that the use of either completely change the statement they are used in.

“All three American automakers are now adding shifts and creating jobs at the strongest rate since the 1990s.”

UPDATE, 10:45 AM: Yen Chen, automotive business statistical analyst at the Center for Automotive Research, says CAR's analysis of Big Three auto data shows this statistic is correct.

“GM plans to hire back all of the workers they had to lay off during the recession.”

This is another impressive-sounding but misleading figure. In the five years since 2006, General Motors announced that it would reduce its workforce by nearly 68,000 hourly and salary workers, creating a much smaller company.

So? A RIF is not the same as a layoff. A layoff happens when a person is not needed right now due to demand. A RIF means the job is gone.

For people that use words as their livelihood, they sure don’t know much about them.
But where is the lie I ask? Answer: There isn’t one so far.

“In the year before I was President, this industry lost more than 400,000 jobs, and two great American companies, Chrysler and GM, stood on the brink of collapse. Now, we had a few options. We could have done what a lot of folks in Washington thought we should do — nothing.”
This is quite a straw man — that many people wanted to do nothing. It was never so black and white. The debate was over the right course to take in the bankruptcy process.

If it wasn’t black and white, how is it a lie? Again he could have spoken for 3 times as long and still not had time to explain all the number interactions. And like a crowd wants to hear them.
The White House concealed nothing. The fact that you read them proves that.

I thought Hillary would pull it off, but there was no way in the world McCain was going to beat any of them. I think the closest he might have gotten is when he picked Palin as his running mate ... that bump lasted right up until the second time she winked during her speech at the Republican convention. They they were down the toilet.

You betcha!
