I am behind on learning about this and that saddens me. Do you think we will get an official statement on how it will effect this site? We should always have back up plans.

This will go through Congress like shit goes through a goose. The Courts are your only hope, and with a Republican majority on the Supreme Court, I wouldn’t hold my breath there. I can think of Four who will reflexively reject the First Amendment challenge and side with law enforcement. Elections have consequences.
Kind of funny how some folks only want to bitch about their rights being violated when they are the ones being fucked with. Yet stand by and knowingly and without any concern watch as other peoples rights are stripped away, and not only not say anything, but some actually root on and support the legal over reach and unconstitutional laws. They are willing to sacrifice their rights because it doesn't personaly effect them and they actually believe we will be safer if they just agree with giving it up. But now going to bitch and piss and moan about 1st amendment?
