I hear/see all these ads and women using P411 as a tool for verification, but no one really verifies!!!

Simple question.

How many of you would boycott P411 if MOST of the ladies that advertise there followed the screening guidelines set in place by Gina?

If that upon arrival, the lady checks your ID and makes sure they match with the ID of the person that contacted her?

With everyone screaming SAFETY lately, how many are willing to go that extra step?

I would have made this a poll, but I noticed on another poll that the voters were visible. Unfortunately, so are the posts that are going to make up the base of this thread.

I know I personally will be checking IDs... and I sure hope more women do as well.

Interesting post. I am a big supporter of P411 and would unlikely see a provider that is not a member. Having said that, I think the guidelines set by Gina it seems, are not often used. I have only had my ID checked once, I didn't mind at all because I was comfortable the lady was reputable. Of course, there could be other reasons the ladies are not checking IDs. This may be because of other supplemental info such as membership here, datecheck, etc. As good as P411 is, I trust and hope the ladies are not using this as their sole method of screening.
I have noticed another thing with P411 that has bothered me some. I get a message from a lady that I am screened, everything's good to go, but when I check the tracking she doesn't appear to have checked my profile. It is my understanding she can see my okays without accessing my profile, but how do I know she actually did any screening?
I may not have the level of comfort I would prefer to have before showing any sort of ID. So unless I know she is reputable, from another source ....... no ID.

No, I think not. Gina has developed a great system. If I am asked to show my info I think I will have developed a comfort level that I would be happy to do so.
Keep in mind, only the last four digits of the ID need be shown.

How about as an intermediary step to checking id's, the
providers actually contact our references or ok's?
And how about the providers actually respond?

Screening in general is a joke. And not to change the topic, but screening with an eccie handle to me is stupid. Just because I have reviews and posts doesn't mean I am not psychotic or prone to urinating on the floor.. Who is going to report a fake good review?

Yes i would show id.

I think P411 is the gold standard in screening and verification services. I only see providers through P411. Yes, I would show my verifying information if asked.

No lady has ever asked to see my verification ID.

I think most gents prefer to keep as much personal info out of sight of a provider.

And I highly doubt a provider would show a gentelmen HER ID to verify her age which has been an issue before.

I fail to see the logic in harming Gina when she's given the ladies a tool for screening and they've failed to use it or they misused it.

P411's main benefit is to expedite the reference verification process. Each lady I've contacted looks at my OK's and then contacted one or more of the ladies. Same as giving a lady references but with a historical tracking.

I'd hack a badly needed inch of my dick before I'd boycott P411.

Nope. With many providers who have exposed themselves as nutjobs, and others who are borderline, I doubt that anyone should feel comfortable handing over their ID.

P411 should be sufficient. If not, find something else to do.

Being a "charter" member of P411, the last 4 numbers were chosen at random because they were whatever you wanted with only a suggestion they be something you'd cary or like your DL number.

I've had experienced providers not check anything yet a brand new girl checked not just my account with 30+ OKs but also contacted the last couple of my OKs. Bravo for her.

P411 has made seeing escorts so fast and easy that there is no way I'd boycott the use no matter what the escort did.

I trust Gina and P411 more than ECCIE?
I have been hobbing a long time and never had a problem with any the providers on P411.
That is why I only see P411 providers.

I'd put masking tape over my name and address and just show the photo and birthdate.

It's been suggested that gentlemen do the same. Just leave your photo and the ID # unmasked.

I've had gentlemen hold their finger over part of the license which doesn't bother me at all, although it's quite a compliment to my memory to think I'm going to remember the exact address two hours later! (...Rambling Trail? Rambling Spring? Rambling Creek? Spring Trail? or was it Spring Creek? and something with "2" in it...).

I remember the first name because I've used it in a couple of emails, a phone call for the room number, and conversation when we meet. I guess I could try the same thing with the addy "So how do you like living at 22714 Creek Trail?" "How long have you lived at 22...um .7...somthing Creek?" "Are you heading back to work now or to 2...whatever...Cr..um...Tr...u m...home?"

I think you are missing the point. The purpose of a P411 ID is not just for perusing your 'okays' and reading your all-too-frequently uncompleted bio. The number is used to check against the gentleman's id, and he can easily cover any pertinent information with a thumb. So I guess I fail to see why some guys get their panties in a wad over the ID thing. You know that is what it's for when you sign up, so spare me.

We have to deal with just as many nutjobs as you ladies do. Safety is a priority to us as well. I refuse to run around with my ID covered in masking tape because some provider didn't do her homework.

Keeping it covered in masking tape is only one option. The other would be to simply cover what's unnecessary with your finger, as I have seen done numerous times, safely. It's really not a big deal.

If she's P411 and asking for your ID, it's not because she didn't do her homework. Quite the contrary, actually...it means she did her homework and now she's checking to make sure the answers are correct.

(and YES you have to deal with nut jobs, but to say you have to deal with just as many is not exactly true... unless you are seeing anywhere from 2-10 providers a day, five to seven days a week, depending on how high or low volume you are

. And yes I would happily share my ID if a hobbyist insisted on verifying my age. Last name and address, no sharing. Birth date? Sure why not.)
