Just wanted to get input from providers, agencies, or hobbyists on this subject. Before moving back to the valley I worked in adult film out west. Mostly production editing and the business side. I would love to start shooting some amateur style video here and wondered if any providers are interested. It would require model releases and IDs which I know is a big difference from the anonymity most of us enjoy. The rate per half hour shoot would be about double the norm and the girls could work with whoever they like provided he can keep it up.

Is this feasible? Thoughts? Etc. shoot me a PM. If you are a hobbyist that does personal vids did you get the idea that it would be hard to get a real shoot?

I've been trying to see if providers as well as civilian women were interested in being an attractive assistant and narrator for my youtube channel and have never had any takers. Not an expert but if I can't convince a provider to do some Vanna White like work which would rake in continuous adsense revenue for the both of us, I doubt you'd get one to participate in an adult film. Just my two cents.

In the industry out in CA we used a lot of adult modeling agencies. It makes things easy but the raw aesthetic of "real" women and particularly the hot Latinas of the RGV would make for some compelling scenes. Without having a modeling agency here it makes it difficult. I don't work in "the business" anymore but really think the women here are incredible and think I have some compelling scene ideas, aesthetics, and production talent. If any providers or agencies happen to read the thread and are curious you can pass the word along that based off of my current business model the provider could earn almost double pay rate for the shoot.

So far the valley doesn't seem interested even though we are offering industry standard 600 to 800 rates. Hmmm

Thanks for the concern gents but it is perfectly legal. Just have to have everyone sign model releases and ID checks to sell the content. In fact quite a few studios shoot in Houston now. Mostly independent but still. Any leads appreciated. Cheers!

So I decided I didn't want the potential liability of maintaining records and getting IDs and having that info...but I still want to film for my own private collection of the provider agreeds. For those of you who regularly do this how much should I expect to pay extra? What's the going rate? Obviously not every provider is cool with it but for those who do what should I expect the cost to be?
